Flickering Flames

Flickering Flames

Title: Flickering Flames

In shadows cast on troubled seas,
A dance of chaos, fueled by ire,
Blinken’s words, the blame unfurled,
For Houthi’s rise, an escalating fire.

From distant lands, fate takes its course,
As ships traverse the waves unknown,
Amongst the whispers of the night,
A storm brews where darkness has grown.

Through innocence’s shattered lens,
The Houthi’s wrath, a tempest unleashed,
Their thirst for power, a dire obsession,
On merchant vessels, havoc they unleashed.

But Blinken points a finger with resolve,
Iran’s hand, he claims, in these attacks,
Empowering Houthi’s tragic role,
A web of deceit, an empire that cracks.

The shipping lanes, a lifeline for all,
Commerce’s pulse, pumping strong and free,
Yet now entwined within uncertainty’s grip,
As Houthi’s shadow looms over the sea.

Amongst the wreckage, hope shall abide,
As nations unite to stem the tide,
With firm resolve and unwavering might,
They strive to restore tranquility’s light.

But let us not forget the price,
The victims lost, their names etched in pain,
In their memory, let peace arise,
As diplomatic efforts try to reclaim.
