Unsettled skies, a land in pain,
Israel and Gaza, caught in disdain,
Blinken’s plea, a future to ascertain,
In midst of conflict, hopes refrained.

Tensions rise, a fragile ground,
Echoing cries, in grief profound,
Netanyahu denies, no displacement found,
Yet, shadows of doubt, still circle around.

Warriors weary, embattled streets,
Blood-soaked pavements, where sorrow meets,
In this chaos vast, hope seeks retreat,
Praying for respite, a moment to greet.

A plea for justice, amidst the fight,
Innocence lost, vanishing light,
Children’s dreams shattered, out of sight,
A plea for mercy, to set things right.

In midst of chaos, a peace unknown,
Heart’s lament, a mournful tone,
Yet, hope persists, as seeds are sown,
A future brighter, slowly shown.

With each sunrise, a glimpse of peace,
Breaking barriers, wars to cease,
Together we stand, animosity release,
For a better world, let love increase.
