Women’s Sacrifice: A Maternal Plight
In shadows dark, where fear abounds,
A haunting truth begins to surround.
Deaths, claiming women with child,
Their spirits crushed, hearts left defiled.
In midst of Covid’s cruel domain,
Maternity system bears this stain.

A looming crisis, the nation must bind.
Experts raise voices, demanding reform,
Injustices exposed, the public must inform.
Echoing pleas for change, in united refrain,
A plea for humanity to alleviate this pain.
For no longer can such tragedies persist,
Action must be taken, to breach this abyss.

Ensure every mother’s right, reclaim our piety.
For childbirth, once again, a sacred event,
Where mothers find solace, and love is spent.
May this darkness be banished, forever to cease,
As the strength of motherhood triumphs with peace.
In unity, let’s rally, for a brighter tomorrow,
Where no woman shall fear, and no heart shall sorrow.
For the souls we’ve lost, and those yet to be,
Reshape
