In the still of the night, darkness takes its hold,
Innocence shattered, a story yet untold,
A child’s laughter silenced, a heart filled with despair,
A community mourns, burdened with heavy care.

Evil wears a cloak, concealed from prying eyes,
Beneath the surface, where innocence quickly dies,
Alleged gang members, perpetrators of pain,
Their actions bringing sorrow, leaving only stains.

But amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope does gleam,
Communities united, refusing to let evil redeem,
With steely determination, justice shall prevail,
A boy’s life honored, his spirit will never fail.

For in the face of tragedy, love will always bloom,
Binding wounds and scars, chasing away the gloom,
We stand together, against violence and despair,
A reminder that compassion is the answer we share.

Though shadows may linger, threatening to consume,
We hold tight to the light, dispelling the gloom,
For every act of darkness, we shall rise above,
Embracing one another with unwavering love.

Now we stand united, our voices ringing true,
In the memory of the boy whose innocence we knew,
Let us mend the broken, transform sorrow to grace,
And ensure that in our hearts, love will always have a place.
