Dying Love

Dying Love

Dying Love

Within the silence of a somber room,
A tragedy concealed, cast in shadows gloom,
A tiny toddler’s life, eternally lost,
Beside his father, a life defrayed, the cost.

The echoes of their final days gone amiss,
As social workers failed to grasp the abyss,
Two chances slipped through fingers, lost to fate,
A young soul’s destiny, sealing their cruel fate.

Curled up in Pudsey pyjamas, they lay,
Innocence and love, fading away,
The weight of heartache and sorrow profound,
A haunting tale of negligence, unbound.

Through tears that fall like rain, our hearts are torn,
For a child forsaken, never to be reborn,
Injustice prevails, casting doubt and despair,
A tragic tale of negligence, beyond repair.

Love, Loss, Tragedy, Negligence, Fate, Sorrow
