Fading Reflections

Fading Reflections

Fading Reflections

In the realm of virtual voices, I inquired,
“Do you dare unravel the veil, guessed or admired?”
Bravely I sought the perception of stone,
As whispers of age pierced my heart to the bone.
Their guesses, like fires, burned my spirit low,
I pondered in dismay, seeking solace, where to go.

Wardrobe, ablaze, my garments consumed by sorrow,
Engulfed in flames, a cleansing for a better tomorrow.
Embers of doubt dissolved, memories now ash,
Rising from the ruins, I’ll embrace the new, the brash.
For age is just a number, a phantom’s disguise,
In fashion’s blaze, my spirit unchains, it flies.
