Forgotten Hope
Title: Forgotten Hope
In shadows deep, where sorrow’s echoes dwell,
A rare disease silently casts its spell,
Childhood dementia, lost in lonely plight,
A battle fought in darkness, shielded from sight.
With weary hearts, the children cease to bloom,
Their laughter fades, replaced by silent gloom,
Yet hope remains, an ember burning bright,
A flickering flame amidst the darkest night.
But FDA, why do you turn a blind eye?
Children’s lives slipping away, oh, hear their cry!
Their tiny voices drowned in the abyss,
As childhood dreams are stolen, amiss.
Oh, let us not forsake these innocent souls,
Let empathy guide our quest, fill the gaping holes,
For in unity lies strength, we must unite,
Advocate for their needs, on wings of compassion take flight.
Together we can mend the broken chain,
Bring solace, healing, and hope, ease their pain,
For no child should suffer, no child should fall,
We shall rise, unite, and answer their call.
