Borderlines of Sensibility
Title: Borderlines of Sensibility
Beyond the borders, a heated debate,
As politicians clash, opinions negate,
Ex-NATO chief implores, “Come to your senses!”,
Seek solutions that bridge, not build up fences.
With rhetoric ablaze, truth veiled by smoke,
Emotions rise, mirroring hearts that choke,
But reason, it beckons, amidst the discord,
To find common ground, let unity be restored.
Divisions deepen; lines carved in the sand,
Yet empathy’s plea for compassion stands,
For on either side, humanity weaves,
Through stories untold, hope in each heartbeat breathes.
Behind the headlines, faces without names,
Children displaced, their innocence in flames,
Let us rise above, casting prejudice away,
For freedom’s song, in harmony, must sway.
In the crosshairs of judgment, let us pause,
To understand the struggles, the pain, the cause,
For it is in reaching out, in embracing the unknown,
That compassion blooms, and true unity is sown.
So, let us find solutions with open hearts,
With understanding, let wisdom impart,
May empathy guide us, as we seek common ground,
From borderlines of fear, may humanity rebound.
