Innocence Ignited

Innocence Ignited

Title: Innocence Ignited

In occupied West Bank, where shadows lie,
A tragic fate befalls, a mother’s cry.
Israeli fire, with its deadly might,
Claims a young life, shattering the night.

Screams echo through the valley, piercing ears,
As innocence succumbs to mounting fears.
A Palestinian American, life unjustly taken,
In the clash of nations, a young soul forsaken.

Gone too soon, dreams unfulfilled,
As the world stands witness, the void is filled.
With sorrow, anger, and questioning why,
This heart-wrenching tragedy makes heaven cry.

Yet, amidst the darkness, we find a glimmer of hope,
A plea for justice, a call to cope.
Let compassion reign, in the face of despair,
Uniting hearts and minds, a world ready to repair.

Key words: Israeli fire, Palestinian American, occupied West Bank, tragedy, innocence, hope
