Echoes of Pain
Title: Echoes of Pain
In the shadow of endless strife,
Lies a land torn apart by grief.
Where cries of anguish pierce the air,
Hearts burdened with a weight so deep.
Amidst the chaos and despair,
Voices rise, pleading for reprieve.
Yet in the halls of power, silence prevails,
As hope takes a backseat to political deceit.
Wounded souls seek refuge, but find none,
As violence reigns with an iron hand.
Innocence shattered, dreams turned to dust,
Piercing wounds that scar this ancient land.
The world looks on with judgment’s eye,
Questioning the price of power and greed.
The cease-fire veto, a bitter pill swallowed,
Depriving the desperate of the peace they need.
Oh, Israel and Gaza, locked in this plight,
When will compassion outweigh the fight?
When will the cries of the oppressed be heard?
And mercy restore what hatred has burned?
