Remembering the Fallen
Title: Remembering the Fallen
On a somber day of mourning we gather,
To remember lives lost, hearts torn asunder,
The echoes of gunfire still haunt our souls,
As anguish and sorrow forever take their toll.
In the heart of Prague, at the university’s door,
We stand united, grief-stricken to the core.
Innocence shattered, dreams unfulfilled,
A tragedy that time can never heal,
Bright minds extinguished, like stars in the night,
Leaving emptiness and darkness in their flight.
Yet as we mourn, we find strength in our pain,
Together in solace, we try to regain.
We remember their laughter, once filled with delight,
Now silenced forever, in this grievous night,
But through the tears, a flame of hope ignites,
For love and unity shall conquer the darkest nights.
Their spirits immortal, their legacy lives on,
In the hearts of a nation, forever strong.
As we honor the victims, with each solemn tear,
With hearts united, we conquer our fear,
May their souls find solace, in eternal rest,
And their memory forever be blessed.
From this tragedy, we vow to rise above,
In unity, compassion, and unwavering love.
