Though bad news now unfolds, our spirits shall not sway,
Progressives, listen close, for the truth I must convey,
Liz Cheney may beguile with her sly, cunning ways,
But fear not, for united we’ll combat her wicked plays.

In the battle for justice, our resolve grows strong,
United in our vision, we’ll right every wrong,
Through stormy debates, we’ll hold our heads high,
With empathy and compassion, we’ll reach for the sky.

Chaos may surround us, clouds of doubt may cover,
But we’ll rise above, cherishing ideals we discover,
Undeterred by falsehoods, by shadows untrue,
We’ll march on boldly, together as one, for me and you.

No matter the hurdles, as fierce as they may be,
Our light will shine brighter, unyielding and free,
For progress lies not only in words we profess,
But in actions we take, to redress and address.

So let the bad news come, let it knock on our door,
For we, the progressives, can endure even more,
With determination as our guide, come what may,
We’ll shape a better tomorrow, one step at a time, each day.

In this battle of ideologies, hope will never fade,
For we dream of a world where justice is displayed,
So stand tall, my fellow progressives, with hearts aflame,
Together we’ll overcome, reclaiming our rightful aim.
