Beneath the starlit Texan sky,
A man raced spirits soaring high.
Texas highway challenge engaged,
His destiny on the asphalt staged.

Roaring engine, heart full of might,
Accelerating into a daring flight.
As mile after mile faded away,
Lawmen appeared, his reckoning day.

Sirens blared, red and blue flashing,
A chase ensued, adrenaline crashing.
Tires screeched, flames of fury ignite,
A desperate attempt to escape this plight.

The truck’s cab, like a fortress strong,
Could not withstand the forces that thronged.
Metal groaned, glass shattered in despair,
As justice demanded its righteous share.

Amidst the wreckage, amidst the fray,
A driver emerged, conviction at bay.
His dreams dismantled, his spirit worn,
Roaring engine silenced, dreams torn.
