Shadows of Betrayal

Shadows of Betrayal

Title: Shadows of Betrayal

In the land of glitter and fame,
Where dreams and aspirations reign,
Darkened shadows now cast their stain,
As truth unfurls in tales untamed.

Once revered, now stained with shame,
Nigel Lythgoe’s deeds lay claim,
Accusations of assault and pain,
Echo loudly, demanding justice’s flame.

Paula Abdul, the first to speak,
Her brave voice breaking barriers bleak,
Two more women now step forth to seek,
Their truths, their stories, mighty and meek.

A dance with danger, trust betrayed,
Innocence shattered, hopes frayed,
Courage blossoms in the face of dismay,
As justice marches closer day by day.

Let this be a turning tide,
Where survivors gather, their voices unite,
To shine a light on the darkest night,
And challenge the wrongs that hide.

Sexual assault, battery, the cries resound,
Injustice fought, truth to be found,
Together we stand, our hearts unbound,
For a future where justice will astound.
