A Cry Amidst the Flames

A Cry Amidst the Flames

Title: A Cry Amidst the Flames

In lands where peace once graced the sky,
Now shattered hopes, where children cry,
Amidst the chaos, sorrow unfurls,
As missiles rain, destroying worlds.

A mother’s tears, a father’s despair,
Their dreams reduced to lingering air,
Innocence stolen, futures erased,
By the thunderous roar of hatred embraced.

Little hands that once held dreams,
Now lost amidst war’s raging streams,
Innocent souls, forever gone,
As nations in battle continue to throng.

A playground, once vibrant and alive,
Now bears the scars, no longer thrives,
Blood-stained soil, now tainted red,
As violence claims lives, the price we dread.

In the midst of destruction, let love ignite,
For in unity’s embrace lies the only respite,
May hearts reach out, across bitter divide,
And in compassion’s shelter, find strength to survive.

Let not the pain define our days,
But rise above hate in resilient ways,
For every life lost, a cry we must hear,
Urging peace to dwell, and end all the fear.
