Act of Solidarity

No one should face severe backlash
For their steadfast beliefs and stance,
So why must Julianna Marguiles
Be subjected to this glance?

The Black and queer individuals
Still fighting for their rights,
Who choose to lend their support
To Palestinians in plight.

When their cause is undermined
And their efforts are belittled,
They must constantly defend themselves
Against those who have throttled.

To achieve their mission of justice
The movement needs solidarity,
Which is why supporters of Marguiles
Vocally stand in unity.

This act is helping demonstrate
The immense power of togetherness,
That can aid in guiding freedom
Through the hard times of distress.

We can help those in struggle
And affirm their autonomy,
By not allowing others
To cast doubt upon their unity.
