Devoid of solace, a haunting air we breathe,
As aid groups reluctantly take their leave,
Safety concerns callously snatch their stay,
In central Gaza’s last hospital’s dismay.

Efforts embedded with compassion and care,
Now hesitant steps into an unknown snare,
The heart-wrenching truth of their forced retreat,
Leaving vulnerable lives in perilous seat.

Silenced are the whispers of hope and peace,
Echoing corridors, where despair finds its release,
Empty wards reduced to echoes of distress,
A dire testament to an unforgiving caress.

In this paralyzing void, darkness takes its toll,
While innocence of patients cries take control,
A solemn reminder, as aid groups depart,
Of the harsh reality that pierces the heart.

Yet, humanity’s resilience will not wane,
In the face of adversity, courage shall remain,
Unyielding souls, united against the unknown,
Shielding hope’s flame till the seeds of peace are sown.

May the day come when safety embraces all,
Within these hospital walls, no shadows to befall,
Till then, a plea echoes through our broken sighs,
For aid groups to return, unveiling brighter skies.
