Paychecks and Deceit
Paychecks and Deceit
In shadows lurks a tale untold,
AOC’s aide, his secret bold,
With scheming vigor, filled with greed,
He paid himself for hollow ‘consulting’ deed.
While mission’s purpose lay forgotten,
PAC’s funds misspent and rotten,
Pretense of progress, a facade to deceive,
True intentions hidden, only they’d perceive.
$140K, a hefty sum indeed,
For work mere semblance, lacking need,
While noble causes yearned for aid,
Self-interest prevailed; justice betrayed.
With each transaction’s treacherous hue,
The trust shattered, bonds withdrew,
Betrayal burned, like a venomous snake,
Feeding on integrity, its victims forsake.
Transparency’s plea fell on deaf ears,
As deceitful paths diverged, sparked fears,
Accountability, nowhere in sight,
Dark clandestine dealings cloak the light.
Oh, how ideals tarnished, morals shattered,
By one who falsely claimed to be flattered,
But truth prevails, it shall be revealed,
Paychecks and deceit, the wounds unconcealed.
