TB Joshua: The Betrayal within the Sanctuary

Within the realm of faith, deceit did dwell,
A megachurch leader wearing a disguise,
Cloaked with prayers, a twisted tale did unfurl,
Rape and torture concealed behind pious eyes.

Oceans of worshipers, caught in the web,
Of a man revered, misusing their trust,
In chambered darkness, innocence was ebb,
Believers shattered, left in shadows to rust.

A sanctuary, once a sacred refuge,
Now tainted by the wickedness of one,
The echoes of cries, vibrating deluge,
Lost souls seeking solace, forever undone.

Yet, in the aftermath, a glimmering light,
Survivors unite, their courage prevailing,
Exposed disgrace, the truth’s victorious fight,
Healing begins, their spirits resurfacing.

May justice prevail, and healing be found,
Amidst the ruins of faith’s betrayal,
May the wounded find solace, profound,
In the embrace of truth, they will prevail.
