Tablets of Torment

Forced upon Brianna Ghey, and without her knowing,
Tablets were given, manipulated beyond showing.
Torture-obsessed teens who thought themselves so shrewd,
They planned to drug a McDonald’s milkshake with what they misconstrued.

Vomiting and screaming in pain, shivers of sadness she would sustain.
The severity of the situation came into view,
The court heard the details of the ghastly things that they did do.

Drugging the poor girl’s milkshake, it’s fate she can’t forsake.
And the tablets I gave that are now slowly killing her,
My heart does ache, so guilty, I find myself still fleeing.

Such a catastrophic crime, we must take it seriously.
Justice must be swift with zero sentiments mercifully.
So Brianna Ghey can seek healing and set aside her fears.
Then may justice be proud, and lastly, client’s eyes can dry of tears.
