Silence Broken

Silence Broken

Title: Silence Broken

In the halls of power, a deafening hush,
Silence cloaks the truth, a cowardly brush,
Israeli women suffer, their voices suppressed,
As Hamas inflicts pain, their dignity pressed.

But Nancy Mace steps forward, on behalf of the oppressed,
For victims unseen, their stories unexpressed,
She puts her colleagues on notice, their silence not ignored,
Advocating justice, she pierces through this discord.

No more turning a blind eye, to the horrors that persist,
No more complicit silence, a call for action persist,
For the women of Israel, their strength must be rekindled,
Their worth and their rights, never again belittled.

Hamas’s shameful acts, condemned without outcry,
Their victims embraced, their plight we’ll decry,
United we stand, against this vile aggression,
For justice, compassion, and lasting progression.
