A Call for Colorblindness
Title: A Call for Colorblindness
In a world divided by hues so bright,
Let us behold a vision so pure and right.
Torn apart by prejudice and strife,
Let us return to a colorblind life.
Embracing diversity with open hearts,
We shatter the chains that keep us apart.
No longer judge by the shade of our skin,
Let love and understanding deepen within.
Martin Luther King Jr., you dreamed of a day,
When we’d measure character without dismay.
Frederick Douglass, you fought for freedom’s cry,
When skin color mattered not, nor did it lie.
Let equality and justice guide our way,
Unity and compassion lead us astray.
For it is not by color that we define,
But by the light within, our spirits shine.
A chorus of hope, we now proclaim,
That colorblindness shall be our aim.
To see beyond the superficiality,
And embrace the true essence of humanity.
