A Call for Peace
Title: A Call for Peace
Enough is enough, a voice cries out,
In the midst of chaos and constant doubt.
In Gaza’s war-torn land, blood stains the sand,
A plea for compassion, let’s take a stand.
It’s time for Congress to reject the aid,
For wars that leave humanity betrayed.
For Israel’s bombs raining down from above,
Let’s choose understanding, not violence, love.
Amidst the rubble, tears flow like the Nile,
Suffering stretches mile after mile.
Innocent lives lost, the pain hard to bear,
Let’s seek harmony and end this nightmare.
A ceaseless cycle, for far too long,
It’s time to pause, to sing a different song.
Peace and justice, we must strive to achieve,
So both sides can finally learn to grieve.
Let’s advocate for dialogue and hope,
Replace the bombs with olive branches to cope.
Together we’ll heal wounds that run so deep,
And sow the seeds of peace, for it we’ll keep.
