A Cry for Peace

A Cry for Peace

Title: A Cry for Peace

In lands of strife, where tensions blaze,
Israel and Gaza entwined in haze,
Fires of conflict engulf the sky,
Amidst the chaos, sanity bids goodbye.

The refugee camps bear the brunt,
As innocent lives face the blunt,
In the heart of Gaza, dreams lay shattered,
And hope, a distant memory that no longer mattered.

Borders ablaze, fear on the rise,
As northern winds echo anguished cries,
Families torn asunder, lives upended,
While the world watches, their pleas they send.

Grim nights bring rockets’ red glare,
Children’s innocence marked with despair,
Lands scorched, buildings crumble fast,
Witnessing destruction, shadows of the past.

Yet amidst the pain, hear a whisper soft,
The souls yearning for peace, seeking aloft,
For in the depths of despair, love still thrives,
Rekindling hope, bridging divides.

Let us join hands, oh hear our plea,
To mend the wounds, to set hearts free,
For peace, compassion, and empathy’s plea,
To build a world where all may live in harmony.
