A Home Built on Love

A Home Built on Love

Title: A Home Built on Love

In this house of dreams, we once did dwell,
Together we planned, our future to excel.
But burdened now, by the weight of the bills,
A question lingers, a thought that chills.

For love and commitment, should equal the cost,
Sharing the load, no matter what is lost.
Yet here I stand, alone to bear the strain,
Will her stake in this home, truly remain?

If ever the day, I choose to sell this place,
Will she demand half, or would love embrace?
The foundation we built, was it truly fair,
Or will division of assets leave us in despair?

Should love and ownership intertwine,
Or be separate entities, a delicate line?
For in this house we shared dreams and laughter,
Seeking clarity amidst this uncertain chapter.

Property, a symbol of love’s embrace,
But will it dissolve, leaving an empty space?
Or shall we find balance, a compromise fair,
To preserve the love we have, and show we care?

Hope, love, home, bills, ownership, commitment.
