A New Giant

Deep down in a cave dwells a beast,
Carrying six eggs with grand finesse.
A new species discovered in Ecuador,

With heavy steps and hulking frame,
Creeping throughout, it hides its name.
Strong and fierce, it holds its load,

Maternal and protective, from its cave it came,
Guarding its eggs with such great fame.
From within the shadows it roams and dwell,

Undiscovered until now, in Ecuador found,
Gentle and kind, while keeping its ground.
It’s a new Giant, one that is true,
