A Symphony of Sorrow

A Symphony of Sorrow

Title: A Symphony of Sorrow

In the realm of anguish, conflict abides,
Where blood-soaked sands turn tide after tide,
A tale unfolds of two lands at war,
With battles raging from shore to shore.

From the depths of despair, a vow resounds,
Houthis echo defiance, their voice profound,
Undeterred by strikes, their flame shall burn,
Red Sea their canvas, on which horrors return.

Amidst this chaos, Israel’s voice is heard,
At ICJ’s gates, their plea is interred,
Seeking justice, an end to the strife,
In the hallowed hall where intentions strive.

A nation divided, hearts torn asunder,
Palestinian cries of anguish thunder,
In these shattered streets, hopes turn to dust,
A plea for peace, an answer is a must.

War’s bitter symphony, its melody cruel,
Innocence ravaged, like a relentless duel,
Yet amongst the darkness, compassion ignites,
Humanity’s flicker in these endless nights.

May harmony prevail, as drums of war fade,
Let empathy bind wounds that were made,
For in the midst of conflict, let hope lead,
Guiding us out of this tempestuous breed.
