A Tale of Dispute

A Tale of Dispute

Title: A Tale of Dispute

In Milwaukee’s urban embrace, a clash takes place,
As mayor and county executive engage in a fiery race.
Their words like barbs, arrows flung in mid-air,
An exchange of jabs, neither willing to spare.

With sales taxes as the battleground, they spar,
Trading blows back and forth, searching to mar.
The lines are drawn, alliances abandoned,
Political rancor unleashed, civility abandoned.

The mayor taunts, “Go to Cracker Barrel, you say?”
A cheeky retort to swat his rival away.
The battle escalates, tensions on the rise,
Veiling the city in a web of disguise.

But beneath the surface, a city divided,
While leaders squabble, progress subsided.
In the heart of Milwaukee, the people cry,
Yearning for unity, their voices amplified.

As the verbal duel rages on and debates ensue,
Wisdom and collaboration, long overdue.
For the future of Milwaukee, they must mend,
Putting aside differences, for the city to ascend.
