A True Hero’s Fate

A True Hero's Fate

A True Hero’s Fate

Birthed from honor, duty’s call,
A retired soul stood tall,
To aid the law, he’d never cease,
Rescuing justice, his masterpiece.

With valor he chased, heart on fire,
To thwart theft, his sole desire,
But justice, an elusive dance,
Led him to a twisted circumstance.

Absolute farce, a cruel lament,
As the thief slipped away, content,
A virtuous man, slapped with a fine,
Whilst the rogue eludes his rightful line.

Injustice weaves its wicked thread,
Stealing valor, leaving honor dead,
But through shadows, light must still ignite,
For true heroes like him, shine fierce and bright.

Retired, yet forever brave and just,
His actions cherished, never to rust,
A reminder that while darkness may ensue,
Heroes rise, with compassion anew.
