Absolute Joke
Absolute Joke
In the battle for FA Cup glory, they clashed,
Everton and Crystal Palace fought unleashed.
But controversy reared its contentious head,
As Calvert-Lewin saw red, hearts aching, spirits bled.
A razor-sharp tackle, an audacious lunge,
Yet the referee seemed blinded by anger’s plunge.
A card pulled from his pocket, crimson stain so bright,
Unjust and undeserved, leaving fans in plight.
Yet Everton, undeterred, fought till the last breath,
With fervor and determination, they defied death.
A replay was earned, a chance to rewrite fate,
In the hallowed grounds, they shall meet, not too late.
For football spins its tales, tests our resilience,
And though injustice may strike, we endure its brilliance.
With hope in our hearts and fire in our stride,
We march forth, undeterred, in this turbulent ride.
