Ailing Days

Ailing Days

Title: Ailing Days

Under the weather, Wales bears the load,
Workers confined, where health has eroded.
A nation beset, as ailments arise,
Sick days surpassing, under gloomy skies.

From valleys to coasts, their strength wanes,
Bound by illness, laboring in strains.
Through foggy breaths and fevers that nest,
Wales perseveres, resilience put to the test.

While “sick days” mark their adversaries’ strife,
Each cough and sneeze battles for their life.
But beneath grey clouds, a spirit remains,
United in resilience, as health reclaims.

For as long as hearts beat strong and true,
Welsh souls will rise, to ailments bid adieu.
And though sickness may try to steal the day,
Their fighting spirit shall never sway.
