Title: “Armorer’s Plea”

A man stood tall in a court of justice,
Although his heart was full of rust.
He pled not guilty to a heinous charge,
The weight of death upon his trust.

For a movie armorer to make a gun,
It was his job, his solemn task.
But he was convicted of a crime tonight,
His plea found in vain the stark.

The judge was stern and held his ground,
The firearms sat in their distinguished row.
It seemed the man’s fate had been sealed,
An end to his sorrow, a final blow.

Yet, in a desperate plea, he fought the odds,
To right what had gone so wrong.
Though doomed to die, he stays alive,
In a plea true and sure and strong.

For justice to be ever served,
The wrongs of the accused must be heard.
Even if the case had been pre-decided,
The armorer’s plea not left unheard.

The man was condemned, his fate sealed,
But he made a plea that justice could not ignore.
His plea was heard and remembered well,
For ever in the laws of Rust there will be his lore.
