Autoworkers Strike
Cutting deep through Ford’s sales,
In the form of a protest, their tool.
Workers’ rights made at a cost,
Loss of profits – the tide’s pull.
An ever so strong unified fight,
Upholding what was right.
Their actions leave a sense of sadness,
Results cut, their damage is seen too far from less.
Trying to find a compromise,
A good outcome seemed wise.
Ending with a theft of their pride,
Footprints of a strike to be left wide.
