Bloodied Sands
Title: Bloodied Sands
Amidst the smoke and shattered cries,
Lies a world consumed by bitter ties,
Where dreams of peace are torn apart,
And hope bleeds from every heart.
In a land where discord fiercely thrives,
It is innocence that never survives,
As soldiers brave, heads held high,
March into the fray where shadows lie.
Their armored souls bear the weight,
Of duty’s call, a heavy fate,
With valor etched upon their face,
They march as one, in unyielding grace.
But in the heart of battle’s wrath,
Lands scorched and veiled in aftermath,
Fifteen souls, with dreams cut cruel,
Succumb to war’s relentless duel.
Their sacrifice, a poignant plea,
For peace to reign eternally,
May their souls find solace and rest,
Amidst the heaviness they’ve suppressed.
Yet scars remain, forever etched,
In the memory of a nation stretched,
For every loss becomes a cost,
To the lives entwined, forever lost.
In Gaza, Israel’s heavy toll,
A reminder of the human soul,
That peace, so fragile, must be sought,
To heal the wounds these battles wrought.
