Children’s TV, a cherished delight,

Children's TV, a cherished delight,

Children’s TV, a cherished delight,
Brought joy to homes, day and night,
But now a change, a shift occurred,
As BBC disrupted what was preferred.

Once a channel, trusted and true,
Where programs for kids thrived and grew,
Now, it seems, a dedicated space,
Has left children’s TV in a lonely chase.

Oh, dear Blue Peter, a once-loved show,
A tale of friendship and crafts aglow,
Yet a sorrowful episode, unseen, unknown,
Cast aside with no viewers shown.

The magic lost, as attention wanes,
Children seek elsewhere, no longer restrained,
A dedicated channel, though the intentions pure,
Has severed the bond, left children unsure.

So, dear BBC, can we revisit the past?
Restore children’s TV to where it amassed,
A place in our hearts, a shared delight,
For the young and old, both day and night.

Children’s TV, lost in the fray,
A plea to return to a brighter day,
Let’s reignite the spark, once more ignite,
And cherish the joy, every child’s right.
