Constitutional Certainty

Constitutional Certainty

Title: Constitutional Certainty

In matters of democracy, we stand,
A duty to uphold, our noble demand,
But in uncertain times, must we waver?
Or embrace the truth, the course we must favor?

The winds of change blow, a tempest’s unrest,
As doubt clouds perceptions that once were blessed,
Yet, steadfast we remain, with unwavering hearts,
To protect what is true, where honesty starts.

Certifying elections, a sacred oath we take,
To ensure fairness, for all our nation’s sake,
But behold! A condition, upon which we tread,
Only ‘if they are constitutional,’ she said.

The world watches closely, gaze fixed upon,
A test of our values, a verdict to dawn,
In unity we strive, to nurture justice’s seed,
And safeguard the principles on which we all agreed.

So, let us not waiver, nor falter or sway,
In defending the truths that guide our way,
For democracy’s strength lies not just in the vote,
But in honoring our constitutional moat.
