“Crystal Mirage”
Title: “Crystal Mirage”
In shimmering allure, a crystal mirage,
The bottled water beckons, pristine and grand.
Yet concealed within, a treacherous barrage,
Tiny plastic fragments invade on command.
Unbeknownst, they infiltrate our bloodstream,
Seeping into organs, like a silent dream.
As thirst is quenched with every single sip,
The plastic particles weave their toxic thread.
Once undetected, now they silently trip,
A detrimental dance, our bodies they embed.
Microplastic devils, veiled in water’s guise,
They pollute our essence, wringing our demise.
From source to tap, the cycle distorts,
Mother Earth weeps as the fragments persist.
Oh, what cost our desires, our comfort’s sports,
When our very existence is wrenched and twist.
Let us awaken to the perilous plight,
And battle this pollution with all our might.
Crystal, mirage, bloodstream, organs, undetected, plastic.
