Defending Choice

Defending Choice

Title: Defending Choice

In the Supreme Court’s hallowed halls,
A life-or-death case now stands tall.
Abortion’s legality questioned anew,
Emotions rise, as the arguments ensue.
The weight of choice hangs in the air,
A challenging decision we must bear.

Will the Court protect a woman’s right,
Or leave her fate cloaked in night?
The heartbeat of justice shall resound,
As questions of autonomy are profound.
The power to choose, to chart our own course,
To safeguard rights, we must enforce.

Equality, freedom, voices raised high,
Advocates fight, the brave testify.
With empathy, wisdom, and due regard,
The Court’s ruling shall hit us hard.
But let us stand strong, unified, and bold,
Defending choice, for it must not be sold.
