Equality and justice, their ultimate quest,
To right the wrongs, and put humanity’s needs to the test.

On the ballot, dreams of progress and peace collide,
As aspirations soar, casting doubts aside.
A chance for unity, amidst politics’ fierce fight,
To bridge all divides, and ensure a future so bright.

Yet, amidst the fervor, a cautionary note,
For democracy to flourish, it must be kept afloat.
With knowledge, understanding, and mindful debate,
We can safeguard the principles our forefathers did create.
