Denying Existence

Denying Existence

Title: Denying Existence

In a world of diversity and truth,
Where identities thrive and hearts soothe,
A voice arose to claim trans lives don’t exist,
An assertion so callous, it’s hard to resist.

With every denial, a wound is laid bare,
Disregarding the struggles that they bravely bear,
For the public should be up in arms, don’t you see?
For trans people deserve respect and dignity.

Their existence is real, their stories profound,
To deny them recognition is to perpetuate a sound,
Of prejudice and ignorance that seek to erase,
Their right to belong, their rightful place.

Let us stand together, in solidarity we rise,
Voicing our support, dispelling the lies,
And as the world awakens to embrace their worth,
May understanding and compassion give birth.
