Disavowed Unity

Disavowed Unity

Title: Disavowed Unity

A nation’s heart divided, it’s faith tested,
In rhetoric’s sway, unity contested.
The White House shuns, a group disavowed,
Fractured conversation, harmony now allowed.

Words spoken in haste, on that fateful day,
But leaders repent, can bridges be made?
Doubt lingers in the air, distrust sown,
Can understanding arise, seeds of empathy be grown?

Islamic group’s voice muffled, shunned and scorned,
In the quest for unity, a nation reborn.
Yet, wounds run deep, forgiveness sought,
The path to reconciliation, dearly bought.

Let us mend the wounds, this fractured divide,
Embrace compassion, let empathy guide.
For unity’s strength lies not in exclusion,
But in understanding, tolerance, and inclusion.

Keywords: disavowed, unity, rhetoric, conversation, empathy, reconciliation
