Echoes of Suffering

Echoes of Suffering

Title: Echoes of Suffering

In Gaza’s main cities, despair takes hold,
Where crossfire ensnares the innocent and bold.
Civilians trapped amidst relentless strife,
Their fragile lives entwined in the turmoil of life.
Muffled cries echo through the streets at night,
As hope’s flicker dims, shrouded in fright.

Mothers cradle their frightened young,
Shielding them from the chaos that’s begun.
Bombs rain down, tearing lives apart,
Destruction etching scars on every heart.
In shattered homes, families huddle tight,
Praying for the dawn to bring respite.

Children’s laughter silenced, replaced by tears,
Their innocence shattered as the conflict nears.
Playgrounds lie abandoned, a symbol of despair,
No smiles, no games, only anguish in the air.
Dreams cower beneath the weight of sorrow,
While war rages on, stealing each tomorrow.

The wounded fight for their path to survival,
Amidst the ruins, a battle for revival.
Amidst the darkness, heroes emerge,
Rescuers risking all, their hearts on the verge.
The world watches on as fate plays its hand,
Hoping for peace to reign in this desolate land.

Crossfire engulfs both oppressor and oppressed,
Leaving no victors, only souls deeply distressed.
Let empathy ignite, and hate be erased,
For humanity to rise above the lines imposed and traced.
May compassion transcend the boundaries we define,
And reclaim the essence of each life in decline.
