Echoes of Suffering
Title: Echoes of Suffering
In the heart of the world, a plea arose,
Yearning for peace in Gaza’s land of woes.
But the hands that hold power, cold and firm,
Vetoed the call, causing the flame to burn.
Silent cries echo through the tearful night,
As hope, once bright, now fades out of sight.
Humanity weeps for the dreams torn asunder,
As bitter backlash spreads, like distant thunder.
The U.N. resolution, a lifeline for peace,
Lost amidst games of power that never cease.
Bloodied hands cling tightly to the iron fist,
While innocents suffer, their existence dismissed.
Voices unite, demanding justice be restored,
As nations condemn this immoral discord.
But will the world listen, in its mighty sway,
Or turn a blind eye, letting pain have its way?
A ceaseless battle wages between right and might,
In the scarred lands where darkness takes its flight.
Though the veto may sting, hope refuses to wane,
For the voices of peace shall rise again.
