Tension rises, nations divide,
Ukraine-Russia, two sides collide.
Futile struggling, no end in sight,
Each day a new battle to fight.

Cries of pain echo in the night,
Lands become ravaged, fertile fields blighted.
Hatred unchecked, morality died,
A valiant Russian general and his men are fried.

Ruthless death reaps its toll,
Buried in barrages, weapons of pure malaise.
Innocent blood drained beneath the sun,
The Ukrainian-Russian war has just begun.

Soulless eyes left with aching hearts,
Small countries besieged the flood doesn’t end,
A war of aggression, justice gone,
Endless mourning until the dawn.
