Epidemic Chaos: A City’s Fall
Epidemic Chaos: A City’s Fall
A somber tale, I now unfold,
Of cities once bright, now in darkness behold,
A smash-and-grab epidemic’s fierce reign,
Leaving destruction, scars that cannot be feigned.
Once vibrant streets, now plagued with fear,
As shattered glass and cries fill the air,
Democratic cities, crippled and lost,
Innocence stolen, lives torn apart at any cost.
Long gone are the days of tranquility,
Replaced by looters’ rampant brutality,
The essence of peace stripped away so fast,
Leaving communities shattered, victims aghast.
Leaders falter, unable to control,
The rising tide of lawlessness takes its toll,
Democracy weakened, grip slipping through hands,
Amidst broken promises, hope barely stands.
In the heart of darkness, a flicker sparks,
A call for unity, to heal these marks,
With resilience and love, we shall reclaim,
The cities once thriving, from the shackles of disdain.
May fate smile upon these cities’ plight,
As they rise above, basking in newfound light,
In their very core, strength will persist,
Rebuilding shattered dreams, places we sorely missed.
