Fading Footprints of Love
Title: Fading Footprints of Love
In quiet bliss, my dog would play,
A joyful soul, with heart so gay.
But fate’s cruel hand snatched him away,
Leaving me broken, bereaved that day.
His wagging tail and gentle bark,
Brightened each room, even when dark.
Now I walk alone, through shadows stark,
His memory lingers, a fading spark.
His paws once danced in fields of green,
An earthly sprite, untamed, unseen.
But destiny came, so swift, so keen,
To steal away my cherished dream.
Through tearful nights, his absence tells,
Of love that echoed in ringing bells.
No more his presence, no more his spells,
Only echoes, within these empty shells.
Yet, I find solace in nature’s embrace,
For his spirit lives on, in each living space.
The wind whispers secrets of eternal grace,
Filling my heart with a tranquil embrace.
Though time may pass, his memory remains,
Embedded deep, where love sustains.
In quiet moments, as the moonlight wanes,
I find strength anew, amidst my strains.
