Fading Shadows

Fading Shadows

Title: Fading Shadows

In the realm of heated debate,
Trump’s answer, shrewd and straight,
A fleeting moment, a glimmer of insight,
Piercing the dark, like a beacon of light.

The question of abortion, divisive and deep,
A subject that many in secrecy keep,
But for a moment, there was a pause,
As Trump’s words gave some cause.

He spoke of compassion, empathy, and care,
Acknowledging the weight of burden they bear,
A shift in his stance, subtle yet clear,
For a moment, his answer brought hope near.

But as quickly as it came, it vanished away,
Lost in the fray, in the chaos and sway,
And so we search for genuine concern,
Forever seeking the truths we yearn.

For in this world of opposing views,
We long for leaders, steadfast and true,
But for now, we hold on to that fleeting sight,
A moment of clarity, amidst the fight.
