Farewell to a Martyr

Farewell to a Martyr

Title: Farewell to a Martyr

In Beirut, a nation mourns its fallen son,
A leader, a symbol of strength now gone,
With heavy hearts, we bid our final farewell,
His memory forever within us shall dwell.

No distance of time can ever erase,
The courage he embodied, the hope he embraced,
A voice for the oppressed, a beacon of light,
His legacy burning, forever shining bright.

With tears in our eyes and heaviness in our souls,
We gather as one, to honor his noble goals,
Through streets lined with grief, we march and we weep,
Bound by our unity, the promise we keep.

In the heavens above, a hero’s journey complete,
A warrior of justice now rests in eternal peace,
Yet his spirit lives on in the fight that remains,
His vision of liberation firmly ingrained.

Oh, brave Saleh al-Arouri, your mission we extend,
We’ll carry your torch till the strife finds an end,
Your legacy inspires, your memory won’t tire,
For justice and peace, we’ll never retire.
