Farewell to the Gate

Farewell to the Gate

Baldur’s Gate we bid farewell,
Goodbye, a moment long to dwell,
The epilogue brings us relief,
Wonder of our days in grief.

Memories of the years agone,
War and victory has come and gone,
Now the time for peace and light,
has come to bring us blessed sight.

Fond memories ever remain,
Of time so short, yet held true gain,
Now to a close we must attend,
And bid the gates a loving end.

As time unwinds the moments pass,
The memories shall ever last,
Though the gates be shut forevermore,
Our memories endure evermore.

The wonder of a wond’rous life,
No longer can we now relife,
But with the End comes gratitude,
For all the wonders in our view.
