Fragments of Choice

Fragments of Choice

Title: Fragments of Choice

In a realm where decisions echo loud,
The Supreme Court weighs in, amidst the crowd.
The abortion pill challenged, legality at stake,
Fanning the flames of a nation’s debate.

With arguments that battlle, fierce and stark,
Rights to control our bodies, light embarks.
A dance of power, fallacies, and fears,
The future of choice fragile, it appears.

Should pills be barred, swept quietly aside,
Silencing whispers of women who’ve cried?
Or should they be embraced, a tender hand to lend,
Empowering choices, to a woman’s own mend?

Within the chambers, justice in the breeze,
They carefully ponder, the outcome to appease.
The weight falls heavy, upon the nine,
Each verse of judgment, a nation’s design.

Harmony, discord, the legal opus crescendos,
As we wait anxiously, for the final crescendo.
Transcripts of justice, within this moral fight,
Echoing through time, shedding celestial light.
